sigh...

I have no words for the cuteness of this little boy & his momma!!

So long sweet summer...

I wanted to start this post by saying "this was one of the hardest summers to say good-bye to..." but being that I worked in a school for 6 years before I had Ben I have to quickly take back that statement.

This summer had a bitter sweet feel to it though- When it's time to say "good-bye" to the season I tend to get dramatic & play a movie slide show in my head of all my favorite memories... Even if it's 90+ degress before memorial day, my slide show starts Memorial Day weekend...which was when Ben had his surgery!

I'm taking a HUGE risk by saying this (I do don't want to jinx myself)... but life went back to normal so fast.  I can not even believe how fast he recovered.  Though I'm so happy to see that part of our "Congenital Heart Defect" journey behind us- I never want to remember how I felt the moment I realized it was going to be ok... I hope I always feel this lucky!
